Abstract
In today’s business world, the intangible expectations of the employees are increasing rather than the financial expectations. The level of trust that organizations give to their employees is a factor that ensures staying in the current role and has an impact on productivity in this environment where competition among businesses is constantly increasing. The perception of job security is a factor that every employee experiences today, arising from the anxiety of losing their job, affecting the perceptions of performance and especially organizational commitment of employees. This study investigated whether the perceptions of job security by the teachers working in private education institutions affect the perceptions of performance and organizational commitment. In the first part of the research, a literature review was conducted about job security, performance, and organizational commitment. In the next section, analysis and hypotheses are presented with the findings of the research. In the last section, the research data were examined one by one, and it was concluded that the perceptions of job security of teachers working in private education institutions had a positive effect on performance and organizational commitment.
