Bibliometric analysis of personality types studies in the national thesis center

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the theses written in the field of personality types with the bibliometric analysis technique. In this context, theses, the university they are published in, the title of the advisors, the number of pages, the number of theses by years, the methods used, the content and the subject were evaluated and analyzed from various perspectives. Within the scope of the study, there are theses related to personality types in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education. In this context, 93 theses were included in the research. As a result of the study, it was determined that Gazi University, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Dokuz Eylül University, Istanbul University, Istanbul Arel University, Karabük University and Marmara University were the institutions with the highest thesis written. It is seen that mostly quantitative analysis methods are used as research method. It has been determined that the theses prepared in a foreign language are very few and the instructors who supervise the theses are mostly Doctor Lecturers.
