Redefining art in the digital age An examination from an artificial intelligence perspective

Abstract

Artificial intelligence technologies are expanding the definition and scope of art by enabling artists and creative professionals to develop their works in new and unexpected ways. AI-supported art pieces demonstrate how technology and creativity can come together to create new forms of art and modes of expression, thereby emphasizing AI’s significant role in shaping the future of art. In this context, the study meticulously evaluates how artificial intelligence has transformed art production and the effects of this transformation on the concepts of artistic expression, creativity, and originality. The study aims to offer an understanding of how artificial intelligence can revolutionize the field of art and the implications of this advancement through a comprehensive literature review, analysis of pioneering works, and examination of artworks created with artificial intelligence.
