Abstract
The purpose of this study; The aim of this study is to reveal the importance of printed media in public and child education by expressing the content given in the newspaper news published in Anadolu Newspaper in 1935 in terms of public education and child education in Turkey. This research, carried out with the survey model, is a descriptive research that reveals that the written press contributes to public and child education by expressing the content given in the newspaper news published in Anadolu Newspaper in 1935 in terms of women and children in the news of Anadolu newspaper in the context of public and child education during the Ataturk period in Turkey, and in terms of education. In this research, document analysis, one of the qualitative data collection techniques, was used and the obtained data was examined by document analysis method. The data examined as a data collection tool in the research; Newspaper news published in Anadolu Newspaper in 1935 were obtained from copyrighted works on the subject. In the newspaper news examined in the research, articles about women and children were the subject of analysis rather than magazine news. The study was formatted by classifying the available data in terms of semantic integrity. In this study; It has been seen that family happiness is possible with moral equality of men and women in the family, that the Turkish family structure is the strongest and best family in the world, that Turkish femininity opened a very wide horizon of independence during the Atatürk period, and that Turkish women left European women behind in political freedom. These were the issues emphasized in newspaper articles. . In addition, other emphasized topics in the newspaper articles were that the mother has the most important role in raising children in the family, that the child should not be beaten or angered, that the child should be made to think, and that the Turkish child is the living ideal symbol of the Turkish revolution.
