Abstract

This study examines Luc de Brabandere’s work Homo Informatics: The Intersecting Worlds of Informatics, Mathematics, and Logic, which explores the historical and philosophical in-tersections of the disciplines of mathematics, logic, and informatics. A Belgian mathemati-cian, computer scientist, and philosopher, de Brabandere combines his technical expertise and philosophical perspective to evaluate the role of these three disciplines in the formation of modernity and the subsequent digital age. The book blends a historical narrative with critical analysis to address the processes of technological advancement and their social implications. In describing this development process, it draws on the views of many figures in the history of science and philosophy. The work appeals to both academics and readers with a special in-terest in technology and futuristic thinking. The review was conducted in three stages. In the first stage, the text was summarized to reveal the main idea of the book. In the second stage, the text was approached from an analytical perspective. In the third stage, a general evaluation was made, questioning the work’s contribution to the field.
