Abstract
We investigate the seismic performance of modular steel building systems through nonlinear time-history analysis under 40 ground motion records scaled to the Turkish Building Earthquake Code (TBDY 2018) spectrum. Results show inter-story drifts 23% lower than conventional steel frames, with modular connections exhibiting superior energy dissipation.
