Abstract

Tomur Atagök, one of the well-known names of Turkish painting, was born in 1939 in Istanbul. She continued her academic studies at Yildiz University (Yildiz Technical University) and received the title of Professorship in 1993. T. Atagök, who has had many exhibitions in Turkey and abroad, was awarded with the prize of UNESCO UPSD / AIAP Artist of the Year in 2015. Within the scope of the research, the findings of a study on the artist's background and the exhibitions between 2000 and 2015 were included. The aim of the research is to create a biography of the artist and to approach the recent activities with numerical distributions.
