About the Journal

Sea tific Journal is an international, peer-reviewed journal focusing on presenting academic data to all stakeholders in the field while taking into account current developments in all types of areas related to shipping and marine sciences, such as environmental impacts, energy transition, and artificial intelligence. Sea tific Journal strongly aims to only publish innovative and novel studies, highlighting research and development that will contribute to significant advancements in the fields of marine engineering, marine science, and technology.

This journal follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Journal History

Sea tific was established in 2021 as Yildiz Technical University's journal dedicated to various aspects of shipping, marine engineering, science, and technology. In 2025, the journal began being hosted by Digital Commons Elsevier.

Publishing Schedule

Sea tific Journal publishes twice a year, with one issue covering the period from January to June and the second from July to December.
